The Security Committee has submitted a design for the entrance into Banana island estate. While the design captures the general concept for the new entrance, it is subject to adjustments and changes. Building and construction work will take about six months to complete.
The Security Committee has also received quotes for the actual gates, which is less than N10 million.
Since it is less than N10m, Exco would handle it.
However, the concrete structure will be sent to the Tenders Committee when an agreement has been reached on the design. What this means is that the estate is working on a new entrance to give it a befitting facelift and ensure security.
